Evan Ravitz "Evan From Heaven" is a performer and regular City Council watcher, and Bob MacFarland is a retired physician and social activist. On June 28, 1999, Ravitz and MacFarland mailed eight of the 12 jurors chapters 10 and 20 of Stephen Singular's book "Presumed Guilty," which theorizes that a child pornography sex ring might have been involved in the death of JonBenet Ramsey. Both Ravitz and MacFarland have also written letters and were petitioning the District Attorney's office to allow them to testify before the grand jury to present evidence about the city involving drug dealing. Friday, July 23, 1999 was a schedule for a hearing but that was rescheduled for August 5th when the judge gave both men warnings that they won't face charges as long as they steer clear of the secretive panel until it is disbanded. |
