Good evening everyone!
Gerald At Large Update:
DP said KS drown accidentally, but Dr. Baden says it was homocide.
Dr. Baden: Even initially there was enough information that this was a homocide. There were multiple traumas on her body.
Could SP have had a lover and is he a suspect?
Showing video of Dr. Baden performing the autopsy on KS
"Body is in not very good condition, but there is enough intact tissues to determine if there is more information that could be useful in the investigation."
Dr. Baden and his wife Linda Kenney-Baden being interviewed by GR. No reasonable doubt in my mind that KS's death is a homocide. The first coroner described several bruises that were fresh and indicated that she had been beaten up before she drown. And adults do not drown in bathtubs. There was clearly a fresh laceration in her scalp that bled quite a lot. Blood was found in the bathtub as the scene. The bruises were not a result of a slip and a fall. No one with a large gash in their scalp is going to proceed to stay in the tub. She was placed in the tub when she was still alive and breathing. There was water in her lungs and sinuses and froth coming from her nose, all indicating that she was alive during the drowning. KS was in that bathtub for 30-40 hours. The scene could have been staged. Somebody had to have held her head and face under water. The original conclusion was reached by a jury of lay people who were not given all the facts in the case before they made their decision. The police officer who testified before the jury had not seen the body at the house and had not been to the autopsy and didn't know all that had happened.
LKBaden: She is not surprised that this miscarriage of justice occurred because it happens all the time across this country.
KS sister Susan's comments: I asked if her husband killed her. She was terrified of him and she told us that if something happened to her, he did it.
Multiple life insurance policies on KS, DP had tremendous financial gain as a result of KS's death. At the wake, DP said he wanted to collect the insurance, pay off his debts, and open a bar.
Showing candlelight walk with KS's sister - hopefully this will raise awareness for other women out there who are being abused.

Geraldo At Large Update:
DP being interviewed by female reporters in his driveway and he's flirting with them and smiling!
CR: Very emotional day here. Search today 8am to 3pm and then held a candlelight walk from KS's house to DP's house. DP was invited to join the search, but he refused. Ribbons (pink and blue) were tied to the tree in DP's yard. They held a moment of silence for both KS and SP.
The name of Scott Rosetto came up today in a newspaper article -apparently her previously dated SP. He's not another suspect, but SP reached out to him weeks before her disappearance.

Geraldo At Large Update:
Scott Rosetto - potential suspect? NO ISP has been talking to him because SP contacted him a few weeks ago. They are friends and they texted each other occasionally. LE believe SP may have set SR up to take the fall for SP's disappearance. (this article was posted at the beginning of today's thread, BTW)
SP Uncle: DP has not been honest and he has not alibi--the only thing he was honest about is that he needs an attorney. LE has not told them anything about impending arrests.
Dr. Cyril Wecht: I concur with Dr. Baden. It is almost certainly a homocide and it's a shame it was not done properly in the first place. There is still a lot of investigation that still needs to be done.
GR: Is it possible that special consideration was given to DP because he was a police officer with 25+ years of service?
Dr. *: Yes. There was even a police officer on the coroner's jury.

Geraldo At Large Update:
Steve Carcerano telling his story and KS's niece and nephew challenging him - never heard of SC before.
(rerun from Geraldo's show last week)
SC is still a friend of DP. SC not surprised that DP is now a suspect and that Baden concluded KS death is a homocide. DP expected Baden's conclusions. Baden read the original report and suspected then that it was not an accidental drowning and that the MOD should have been called a homocide back then.
GR: Didn't you think something had happened to KS when you saw her? GR pushes further about the bruises, etc.
SC: I can't answer that - it's just something I thought I'd never find.
KS niece Melissa saying that it has been a difficult week for her family but they are glad they know more now and that it is going to be investigated.
