GVS "On the Record" Update:
GVS: Police spent $250,000 looking for Anu Solanki. As it turns out, she ran away from her husband to start a new life in CA. She had no idea that DP would use her story to say "This happens all the time. I'm just another victim of it." "People run away. People drown in the bathtub," he said. "And it happened to me."
The panel comments:
Ted Williams: I find it sick that DP reopened his mouth. When Anu ran away, she came back. Everything we know about SP says she is not coming back. If she ran away, she would have been back by now. I think this woman should be prosecuted. She left her car running with the door open giving the impression that there was foul play. Any reasonable person would conclude that something was wrong.
GVS: Maybe she didn't leave the car door open. Adults don't have to tell anyone when they leave. She did come back.
Jim Hammer: I would not prosecute her, but there are some that lie and implicate people--I would prosecute them.
Bernie Grimm: My new year's resolution is not to put people in jail. She's obviously has some issues. For DP to say this, I don't know what the hell he's talking about. Duh, this woman came back.
Michael Cardoza: What laws did this woman violate? She was in an arranged marriage. She wanted out.
Ted Williams: Any time a person takes off and leaves their car running to make it look like there is foul play, if there's a way to do it, she should be prosecuted.

GVS "On the Record" Update:
Showing the video of DP and SP at her aunt's home for her wedding anniversary before they were married. She looks very happy. DP kisses her temple. Also showing the video of the grandfather's 80th birthday.
JH: Time is on the side of the prosecutor. Without a body and as more time goes by and she doesn't return, it gets easier for the case to be prosecuted because it becomes more ridiculous that she ran off with another man and never returned.
GVS: Nothing seems to go on in the legal system during the holidays, does it? And then it seems to speed back up after the new year.
BG: That's very true. I couldn't get anything done in the courts last week. Jim's right. Usually time is against the prosecutor, but in this case with SP not coming back, it gets easier.
MC: With what we know now, they could not prosecute DP, unless the GJ has a lot behind the scenes that we do not know about.
GVS: That's true--they may have tapped the phones, found more evidence in the house or the cars than we are aware of, . . . so they may have enough to prosecute.
TW: In more cases than not, LE has a lot more than we hear about. We have to remember this is a very smart, wise cop. This guy may very well be able to get away with murder unless they find a body.
GVS: Thomas Morphey, I think, will be key to this case. We haven't heard what he has told LE, but I believe his testimony will be very important.
JH: I agree.
