FLASH BACK - Casey Anthony's 31 Days

[Caylee Anthony]The last time two year old Caylee Anthony was seen was the day after Father's Day on June 16, 2008, according to her Grandfather, George Anthony. It wasn't until July 15, 2008 that Casey Anthony admitted she hadn't seen her daughter for 31 days. Casey Anthony originally told law enforcement that she dropped Caylee off with her nanny, who she named as Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, also refered to as "Zanny", at apartment #210 at the Sawgrass Apartments in Orlando, Florida. Casey then said she went to work at her job at Universal Studios. Casey said when she returned to pick Caylee up that both Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez and Caylee were gone and Zanny's phone was out of service.

Casey's story later changed. She told bounty hunter, Leonard Padilla (09/05/08 On The Record) in August 2008 that Zenaida and her older sister Samantha kidnapped Caylee at J. Blanchard Park in Orlando. "And then when they were about to drive out in a 2008 silver Ford Focus, Zenaida handed her a list and said, "Here--if you do not want your baby hurt, this is what you tell the cops for the next 30 days."

Casey's brother Lee Anthony further expanded what he had been told by Casey on the J. Blanchard Park kidnap story during his civil deposition February 27, 2009 with civil attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez. Lee Anthony said Casey admitted she lied to the police, that Caylee wasn't kidnapped at the Sawgrass Apartments. Attorney John Morgan: (02/27/09 Nancy Grace Show) "He [Lee] said that Zenaida came in and also took over her password [changed it to timer 55], controlled her Myspace and Facebook. And then, every day, Zenaida told her to go somewhere. Go to Wal-mart. Go to the Millennium Mall. And that she was directing her around, places to go. And that she would go there, and the reason she went there, was because if she didn`t, Zenaida would either kill Caylee, Lee, Cindy or George."
