Caylee Marie Anthony HOMICIDE - Orlando, Florida (R.I.P. 2005-2008) Age: 2-1/2, Caylee Anthony was reported missing by her grandmother, Cindy Anthony on July 15, 2008. At that time Caylee's mother, Casey, said on the July 15, 2008 911 call that her daughter had been missing for "31 days." Date of disappearance is unknown but the math adds up to last seen as of June 15, 2008. The cans were reported stolen in late June around the time Caylee may have disappeared. George Anthony said the cans were taken by a neighbor but admits his daughter had stolen gas from his home in the past. Sources close to the investigation say they don't believe the cans were used to burn or destroy evidence. But investigators do want to test the cans to see if they were near Caylee before she disappeared."

We spent the entire day with the Anthony family & friends. Dakota got very attached to George & Cindy. Stuck by their sides all day. We were invited to attend the candlelight vigil the following Sunday [08/03/08] at their home. Dakota was anxious to go so we went in the meantime. Dakota asked how she could help do something to help find Caylee. She asked about a vigil & talked to our church pastor, & she'd help her do this. Dakota arranged a vigil here in St. Cloud for August 8th when we went to the Anthony home on August 3rd for the vigil we had flyers allready made up for the vigil in St. Cloud. Deputies were back at the Sawgrass Apartments Wednesday over a discrepancy a Local 6 investigation found on an original arrest report. Detectives followed up on the lead and requested the original guest card with Zenaida Gonzalez's name on it on Wednesday, sources revealed to Local 6. A leasing manager who filed out the card confirmed to deputies that Gonzalez visited on June 17 and not April 17, which was written on the arrest reports. Sources told Local 6 that when apartment managers tried to follow up with the woman after June 25, the phone number she gave was no longer valid. June 17 is significant because two days before that video was shot of Caylee, it was the last day anyone saw the missing child."

Cindy Anthony told Mark Fuhrman that she (Cindy) and Casey swam in the pool on 06/15/08 and when they were done they put the pool ladder away but on 06/17/08 the Anthony's noticed the ladder was back up on the pool hooked up and the side gate of the yard was open.

Now, the business about the -- there's a pool in the back yard, and there's something about the ladder connected to the pool. And in fact, if you can just stand over on -- I've actually got a picture, so you can explain the significance of new information on the ladder and the pool in the back yard. What is the story on this ladder? (MARK FUHRMAN, FMR LAPD HOMICIDE DETECTIVE): Well, it's interesting. You know, the grandparents are telling me that on the 16th, when Casey and Caylee are leaving that morning at 12:50 -- the previous night, Cynthia, the grandmother, and Casey swam in the pool. After they were done, they take me ladder, which snaps off, and then they take the ladder away from the pool so Caylee can't climb up it by herself. Now, nobody swam in the pool after that night on Sunday. Nobody swam there on Monday. And then Tuesday morning, they noticed that the ladder was back up on the pool, hooked up, and the gate on the side of the house was open. So it's interesting information considering the activity that preceded -- you know, preceded that on the day before.

And they said "OK." And then, nothing happened, no one called me back. I called again the next night [08/12/08] about 9:30, 10 o'clock, they told me to call Crimeline. I didn't want to call the Crimeline, I just wanted to stay as anonymous as possible, and so I called Crimeline, and they said they would have an officer meet me out there. So the next day [08/13/08] when I got off work I drove over there, I called, the officer showed up, he pulled his expandable baton out, went down to the water's edge. I pointed in the area where it was at, and he just swept his head back and forth and said 'I don't see anything.' And pretty much that was it."
