Caylee Marie Anthony HOMICIDE - Orlando, Florida (R.I.P. 2005-2008) Age: 2-1/2, Caylee Anthony was reported missing by her grandmother, Cindy Anthony on July 15, 2008. At that time Caylee's mother, Casey, said on the July 15, 2008 911 call that her daughter had been missing for "31 days." Date of disappearance is unknown but the math adds up to last seen as of June 15, 2008. WFTV reporter Kathi Belich received four of the emails herself, but when she realized something didn't seem right about them she forwarded the emails to the FBI. Now, the FBI is investigating. The Anthonys have used their home computer to email their spokesman, their private investigators and others about the case, but they say someone accessed their account when they weren't even home during the holiday weekend."

In a release about the decision, the State Attorney's Office wrote: "This afternoon, after consideration of the law and unique facts applicable to the above case, the State filed its notice that it is not in the best interest of the people of the State of Florida to pursue the death penalty as a potential sentence. Therefore, the State of Florida will not be seeking the death penalty against defendant Casey Anthony."

On November 5, 2008, Baez said, “We all believe she's alive and if these tips, if there's one credible tip in that 5,000, it's worth us going through them.” He’s received repeated reminders that the tips, which took 50 hours and $980 to compile, were ready for him to pick up."

But the one thing we were aware of was the almost giving the dogs toothbrush to the FBI. She made some comment about it, when Tracy repeated it to me, I thought, well, that`s typical Cindyism. On the other hand, she also has made a comment about when did Tracy get an attorney to talk to? Well, she got that attorney way back when she first came back to Sacramento, because of some incriminating things that Casey had mentioned to her. And she didn`t want to be jacked up on a misprison -- felony type situation."

The rest of the family spoke more Spanish than English...and the little girl only spoke English," said Casey. The man who called in the tip is an attorney. Casey says the man was dining with his girlfriend. "He and his girlfriend provided sworn affidavits. They had been prepared by an attorney," said Casey. In those affidavits, Casey says the couple swore that they truly believed that the child they saw was Caylee Marie Anthony. George and Cindy Anthony will be going to that restaurant where that possible sighting took place."

Cindy claims Casey said Zenaida Gonzalez has a NY State driver's license. Cindy claims she talked to manager at Johnson Wrecking and he said smell in car was old pizza. George's professional opinion of the smell is he didn't realize how long it would take garbage to smell 18 days in a car.

When you first called police, you said something like it smelled like there was a dead body in the trunk of your daughter's car. And more recently you said that you believe that it was maybe old pizza. And I was just calling wondering why you changed your mind on that. CINDY ANTHONY: "I changed my mind on that -- I never changed my mind on that. What I stated was the car smelled, OK. I was told by my husband and also by the gentleman at the tow yard that there was a bag of food that contained pizza and maggots in the car. I went down and I spoke myself with the manager of the tow company, and he told us that that was the cause of the smell in the car. I don't know if anybody that has ever smelled decay of food that's been in a car trunk for 19 days in Florida heat. I have opened my refrigerator and made the comment, something died in here." LARRY KING: There were reports, photo shots, I think, of your daughter partying a lot and out having a good time during all this, while her daughter is missing. Explain that. CINDY ANTHONY: "There was one photo out of all of the photos that has been shown of her partying that was after June 16th, one. And what we have learned that that is a staged photo. That those are photos that they used to entice other people to come into that club. She would have gotten paid for that photo. So, in fact, she was working. And we have proof of that." CALLER: My question is for George. George, removing yourself from your family, I know you are a professional in the department. What was your professional opinion of the smell in that trunk? GEORGE ANTHONY: "My professional opinion is I never really realized how long it would take garbage to smell for 19 days or 18 days inside of a car in Florida, to be honest with you."

Ninth Circuit Judge Stan Strickland complied Thursday with a request by Casey Anthony's lawyer Jose Baez to put off the start date of her trial until March. He set another hearing for Jan. 15. Baez also asked for a change of venue. "We've done extensive research, which is why the motion hasn't been filed yet," he MyFOXOrlando.com ahead of Thursday's status hearing. "We want to be able to analyze coverage in all the media markets in the state of Florida."

("Judge Postpones Murder Trial for Mother of Missing Florida Toddler Caylee" 12/11/2008): "Earlier this week, Baez said he was seeking a court order for surveillance video from a local mall taken the day of a reported sighting of the girl. Jose Baez is asking the Florida Mall be ordered to turn over the footage captured in November in a play area of the Orlando shopping center, where an employee says she snapped a photo of a Caylee look-alike." - "The photo was taken Nov. 16 by mall employee Halima Solomita, according to MyFOXOrlando.com. Solomita told the station that she tried to call Crimeline but was kept on hold for 20 minutes. "I took my last cell phone picture as the woman [accompanying the little girl] tried to cover her head with her arm to hide from me taking her picture," Solomita said."

(www.local6.com "Deputies: Child's Remains Found In Wooded Area Near Anthony Home" 12/11/2008): "A utility worker on Thursday found the skeletal remains of a child in Orange County in a wooded area located less than half a mile from the home of the George and Cindy Anthony, whose 3-year-old granddaughter, Caylee, has been missing since mid-June, authorities said. The remains, located inside a garbage bag, were discovered by the worker around 9:30 a.m. near South Chickasaw Trail and Suburban Drive, less than four-tenths of a mile from the Anthonys' home on Hopespring Drive. Local 6 News reporter Jessica D'Onofrio confirmed that the remains are likely that of a girl. D'Onofrio said the worker saw the garbage bag, opened it, saw the remains of a child and called 911. A skull was found nearby, and there was duct tape in and around the garbage bag, D'Onofrio reported."

TIM MILLER, TEXAS EQUUSEARCH: You know, Nancy (SIC), we actually lost one of our four-wheelers in that area. It got underneath the water. We got to remember, when Caylee disappeared, Florida was going through a drought. And after her disappearance, Tropical Storm Faye came through and dumped just tons of water. And it was the hardest decision I ever made when I had called that search off. And my biggest fear was that Caylee was going to be under the water and either a four-wheeler or a person or a horse or something would step on the remains, push it down farther in the mud or destroy the remains and jeopardize any future searches. And so we postponed that search for two more months. And then we came back in November. We did another search of that area we went to again. The area was still under water. It wasn't feasible to search it. GRETA VAN SUSTEREN: Tim, when you say that it was under water, how deep was the water? Because I don't have any sort of concept of this. TIM MILLER: Well, the water right there was probably about three feet deep. I mean, there was just a tremendous amount of water. And then when I flew back to Florida and I actually rented a small airplane and we flew the area I November, and there was still more water than we wanted to be here.

"That doesn't determine who or what caused the child's death." Anthony is in jail accused of murdering Caylee, but Black said Anthony stands by her claim that she dropped off her 2-year-old daughter with a sitter in June and never saw her again. That won't change if it turns out the skull and bones belong to Caylee. "Casey Anthony handed her daughter off to a woman in a park who was with another woman in a car," Black told FOXNews.com. "Her position and the position of the law firm has been that she handed her child off. ... It would be difficult for a prosecution to absolutely tell a jury that Ms. Anthony is the one who injured the child."

"For the first time, WESH 2 News has also confirmed that the child's body was wrapped in some sort of "covering" inside the bag."

Investigators said they believe Caylee's body was dumped at the location in the woods shortly after she was killed. The bag full of human child remains was discovered by a meter reader, who went into the woods to relieve himself. Sources have described a small "bone trail" found outside the garbage bag, leading them to suspect that it was likely submerged for an unknown period of time and some of the remains floated out of the bag or were scattered by animals. For the first time, WESH 2 News has also confirmed that the child's body was wrapped in some sort of "covering" inside the bag. According to sources, it was the covering -- along with the trash bag and duct tape -- that investigators said they believe are tied to the Anthony house nearby on Hopespring Drive."
