Caylee Marie Anthony HOMICIDE - Orlando, Florida (R.I.P. 2005-2008) Age: 2-1/2, Caylee Anthony was reported missing by her grandmother, Cindy Anthony on July 15, 2008. At that time Caylee's mother, Casey, said on the July 15, 2008 911 call that her daughter had been missing for "31 days." Date of disappearance is unknown but the math adds up to last seen as of June 15, 2008. According to the Orlando Sentinel, the group will set up a command center in the Daimler Chrysler building on the 10000 block of Boggy Creek Road. The group said it plans to be back in Central Florida next Saturday, Nov. 8, to resume the search for the missing toddler."

10/30/08 & 11/04/08: George Anthony spotted staring into woods near Hoffner Ave and Pasco Street where TES searched in September. Cindy texted messaged WFTV saying George was scouting location for Kid Finders tent.

An eyewitness reportedly saw George Anthony standing and staring into the woods near Hoffner Avenue in east Orange County. Eyewitness News has learned a search team could be looking for the little girl's body in the same place George was spotted. The area has already caught the attention of investigators. It was searched in September when EquuSearch was in town last time." - "Late Tuesday afternoon, Caylee's grandmother Cindy text messaged WFTV reporter Kathi Belich to say George was looking at the woods to scout out another possible location for the KidFinders tent that they take around town asking for donations and tips in the case." "Now, a WFTV viewer says she saw George Anthony at the same spot early in the evening on October 30 looking into the woods. The area is easily accessible by car, yet easy to disappear into and it's less than four miles from where Casey Anthony and Caylee lived with Casey's parents. The WFTV viewer said she saw Caylee's grandfather George's car parked in the area around 6:15pm on October 30 and that he was staring into the woods. Then she saw him get into his car and drive away. She figured he was looking for Caylee and the information was passed on to law enforcement."

One of the areas they'll return to, to finish what they started, is near Orlando International Airport, where a third of the territory they wanted to search was covered in water from Tropical Storm Fay."

Usually single tents sites are $32.00 per night but KOA is being extremely generous and giving us a group rate of $6.00 per person, per night. We can only accept 50 people so please respond quickly. The idea is to accommodate as many schedules as we can. Hoover on the 8th of November was out at Texas Equusearch and in front of several people actually filed a search directive, in other words, it`s a form they fill out saying that the body was actually where it was located. I don`t know whatever happened to that. I do know that people in law enforcement are trying to track it down."

TES Volunteer Bill Todd was approached on 11/08/08 by Jim Hoover with a tip that someone saw Casey’s car parked near that patch of woods [on Suburban where Caylee was found] back in June [2008]

According to Miller Hoover approached a volunteer searcher on November 8th. "He actually told (searcher) Bill Todd that nobody could know he was out there,” Miller said. “And it had to be kept a big secret that he is working as security for the Anthony’s and if the Anthony’s ever found out he was out there his job would be in jeopardy." - "Miller wouldn’t say what Hoover said, but Bill Todd's wife said Hoover's tip didn't directly point them to the location where Caylee was found on December 11th, but instead said someone saw Casey’s car parked near that patch of woods back in June."

TIM MILLER (TES): "We most definitely did search that area, Greta. And the first time we were there — of course, you know, we got there the very beginning of September, and that was right after Tropical Storm Fay came in, and the water was so high and — and I got a lot of criticism when I suspended the search because I said, You know what? I'm afraid that little body's under the water. If it is, she's just totally skeletonized. And I don't want a horse to step on her or a ground searcher to step on her or a four-wheeler drive over her and take a chance on pushing that little body down in the mud and jeopardize any chance of her ever being located, so I suspended the search." TIM MILLER (TES): "November, we went back and we searched that area again. And at the area — because I physically went to the area the day that Caylee's body was found. And that area again in November, when we searched it, that exact area where Caylee was at was under water still. And again, I made the decision we are not going to do any searches in water because this is a tiny little skeleton and we're not going to jeopardize it. And the land owner adjacent to where Caylee's body was found stated his own self that approximately a week-and-a-half before Caylee's body was found is when the water level went down to the point that you may have been able to see something back there. So I think we made the right choices. We was there, and you know, we — we don't have a thing in the world to be ashamed of. I know that."

(www.wftv.com "Bounty Hunter Holds Prayer Vigil For Caylee" 11/11/2008): "CASEY'S EX-FIANCEE'S FATHER ATTENDS SEARCH: The father of Casey Anthony's ex-fiancee showed up at Sunday's search, but did not participate. Richard Grund once thought Caylee Anthony was his granddaughter, because his son Jesse almost married Casey. "I'm an old New York Italian. When I make you part of my family, you stay part of my family, so Caylee's still part of my family," he said. Grund claimed that Cindy Anthony led investigators to believe the Grunds had a hand in Caylee's disappearance, but they have since been cleared. "I wanted to participate in the search, but considering the accusations made against my son and me by Cindy, I figured it wouldn't be the best thing to be in the area when she's found," Grund said. Casey's former best friend, Amy Huizinga, also showed up in support of Grund. They all said they shared the hope that Caylee Anthony will soon come home for a proper burial."

He organized several expensive search parties for Caylee's body over the weekend, but called them all off Monday. Miller told Eyewitness News he's never had a case like this where the family offers only criticism instead of actually helping in the search."

"He always told me it was never about money. He was just there to help," said Cindy Anthony. The Anthonys claim they haven't made a dime off their granddaughter's disappearance, but somebody's getting paid. Eyewitness News obtained documents showing TV networks paid thousands of dollars for Caylee pictures and family interviews, but all the money went to Garrison."

But Wednesday morning, when pressed about reports that he was collecting booking fees for the Anthonys, he would not answer, responding to emails by saying he was disappointed Eyewitness News would stoop so low and not to bother him with rumors anymore." " Two hours later, Garrison sent an email to Eyewitness News saying he's resigning because of the Anthonys' erratic behavior over the last two months and because others have manipulated them into situations that would not dignify the family. "Due to the erratic behavior over the last several months exhibited by The Anthony family, Larry Garrison is resigning as their spokesperson. It is my opinion that others have manipulated them into situations, that would not dignify the family. I can no longer be part of that behavior. I wish them all the peace and resolution they so deserve. The truth always comes out in the end, and in this case 'The truth is better than the spin,'" Garrison wrote in the statement."

Nov. 13, one of those witnesses took a photo with her cell phone in a children's play area at the Florida Mall. A spokeswoman for Kid Finders said the Anthonys remain hopeful because no one has come forward to claim the child as their own. A spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff's Office said forensic evidence from the FBI lab proves Caylee is dead. They have suspended efforts to find the girl alive."

(www.wftv.com "WFTV Legal Analyst Describes Private Investigators' Video" 01/09/2009): "Sheaffer [WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer] said the Anthonys' private investigator, Dominic Casey, picked up what appeared to be a blanket at the scene and tossed it aside and that it did not appear Mr. Casey and his colleague, private eye Jim Hoover, who was behind the camera, were doing a random search. Sheaffer said Mr. Casey appeared to be focused on areas where there was a configuration of stones or concrete pavers, not just at the crime scene, but also at what appeared to be an abandoned back yard where Mr. Casey was actually digging. "Mr. Casey was digging in the area, actually digging with a garden shovel, in an area where it appeared to be a black plastic bag sticking out of the earth," Sheaffer said. Sheaffer said it was obvious Mr. Casey knew the camera was rolling because he was actually directing Mr. Hoover on where to shoot." "Sheaffer said, back at the scene the second day [11/15/2008], Mr. Casey was probing the ground with a metal rod and not just superficially but deeply enough that he could have destroyed evidence. "It was a metal probe and if he hit the skull or the bones of that skeletal remains he could have fractured it, he could have otherwise altered it and it would have thrown the whole forensic examination of the bones off," he said."

Reports are that Dominic Casey met with P.I. Jim Hoover and said he knows Caylee is dead and knows where her remains are. Then Dominic Casey and Jim Hoover went to the scene on Suburban Drive but didn't find Caylee's body.

Tell me again what happened. KATHI BELICH, WFTV: "OK. Jim Hoover told investigators today [01/07/2009] that on the 14th of November, the Anthonys` private attorney, Dominic Casey, called him and asked him to come to town and meet with Mr. Casey. On the 15th in the morning, Mr. Casey met with him at the office, and Hoover says Mr. Casey told him, Caylee is dead and I know where her remains are and we have to go look for him. Hoover says that is why they went to the scene on November 15, a Saturday, and November 16." KATHI BELICH, WFTV: "[Jim] Hoover told investigators Dominic Casey knew where to search and what to look for, and they specifically went to that location to do a detailed search of that location. Hoover says when he was there on those two days, they did not find the body. He says that Dominic Casey went back to that scene at least two other times after that without Hoover. We don`t know if he was alone or he was with anyone else. But that`s the new information."

PI says he filmed crime scene 11/15 on Surburban Drive but didn't find anything

(www.wftv.com "2nd Anthony Investigator Says He Videotaped Remains Site" 12/31/2008): "Dominic Casey, a colleague of [Jim] Hoover who works for the Anthonys, claims he went to the site in November with a camera to rule out the possibility that there was any evidence of Caylee there. Dominoc Casey said he didn't find anything, but admits he might have missed the remains. The pair of private eyes, one of whom was working for Caylee's grandparents, said they not only visited, but videotaped and photographed the wooded area. Dominic Casey also said that he and Hoover were following up on a tip one of Casey Anthony's childhood friends, Kiomarie Cruz, had given detectives." - Dominic Casey said he took the pictures on November 15, the day the Anthonys were away at a Kidfinders' function. Dominic Casey said, since he didn't find anything, he never mentioned his search to the Anthonys until December 11, which is the day the Orange County meter reader discovered Caylee Anthony's remains"
