Caylee Marie Anthony Missing Sunday, June 15, 2008 - Orlando, Florida Age: 2, Caylee Anthony was reported missing by her grandmother, Cindy Anthony, on July 15, 2008. At that time Caylee's mother, Casey, said on the July 15, 2008 911 call that her daughter had been missing for "31 days." Transcribed by www.acandyrose.com (from .pdf file) Orange County Sheriff's Office Arrest Affidavit - Casey Marie Anthony Date of Arrest: 07/16/2008 16:33:00 Case # 08-CF-10925 Discover Documents Set#2 (Pages 26-30) SUPPLEMENT #Original - INCIDENT REPORT (07/16/08): On 07/16/2008 I was dispatched to a stolen vehicle located at 4937 Hopespring Drive, which was later founded to be a kidnapping. It was later determined that the address of2863 South Conway Road was the location of where the incident took place. Upon my arrival I met with Lee Anthony (Witness 1). Lee stated that his sister, Casey Anthony (Parent of victim), had not been home for a couple of weeks_ Lee said he returned to his residence to find Casey's vehicle in the garage. Then his mother, Cynthia Anthony (Witness 2), and Casey arrived at the residence. Lee said it appeared that Cynthia and Casey had been arguing. Once Lee got Casey separated from their mother, he asked Casey if there was something wrong. Lee said Casey broke down in tears and told him that she does not know where Caylee (Victim/Daughter) is and she has not heard from Caylee in thirty-one days since she dropped Caylee of at Zenaida Femandez-Gonzalez's (Suspect/Babysitter) house. Lee said Casey had claimed she had been searching for Caylee since the last time she saw her and she had people helping her to find Caylee. Casey told Lee that she met Zenaida through a friend by the name of Jeff Hopkins who lives in JacksonviHe, Florida. Lee was able to make contact with Casey's boyfriend, Anthony Lazaro, who told Lee that Casey told him that she sees Caylee on a regular basis. Lee tried to contact other friends of Casey to gather further information about Caylee's where abouts with negative results. Lee could not provide any further information in reference to the incident. Lee completed a sworn written statement and said he will testify in court. I then spoke to Casey's mother, Mrs. Cynthia Anthony (Witness 2). Casey told Cynthia she was in Jacksonville, Florida for the last two and a half weeks and could not return the vehicle. Cynthia said she then received a certified letter in the mail on 07/15/2008 in reference to her vehicle being towed to Johnson's East Towing off of Narcoossee Road and has been there since the last week of June. Cynthia then went to Johnson's East Towing and picked up her vehicle. Cynthia learned that the vehicle was towed from the Amscott business located at the intersection of East Colonial Drive/Goldenrod Road on 06/30/2008. Cynthia said once she got the vehicle back, she began to look inside the vehicle and noticed a piece of paper on the passenger seat. The piece of paper had one of Casey's friends, Amy, phone .number on it. Cynthia then dialed the phone number and learned that Casey was staying at her boyfriends house. Cynthia said she then went to Anthony Lazaro's house focated at 3848 Sutton Place and made contact with Casey. Cynthia was able to get Casey back home and learned that Casey did not know where Caylee was and Casey has not seen her for thirty-one days. Cynthia said she had been suspicious that something was wrong with Caylee after Casey left the residence a month ago. Cynthia said every time she spoke to Casey on the phone for the past month she has requested to speak with Caylee. Every time Cynthia has asked to speak to her granddaughter, Casey has made excuses that Caylee could not speak to her at the time. Cynthia last saw Caylee on 06/09/2008. Cynthia had no further information in regards to this incident. Cynthia completed a swam written statement and said she will testify in court. I then spoke to Casey's father, Mr. George Anthony (Witness 3). George stated on 07/15/2008 at approximately 2005 hours, his wife Cynthia called him. George was unable to answer the phone and unsuccessful in getting in contact with his wife. George then asked his son Lee to stop by the house to make sure everything was all right. George finally was able to make contact with Cynthia by phone. Cynthia alerted George that he needs to return home as soon as possible. George arrived at his residence at approximately 2200 hours and found. Cynthia in the garage crying. Cynthia informed George that Casey said their granddaughter has been missing for thirty-one days and she last left the child with a babysitter named Zannie. George also stated that Casey has been very vague about Letting Caylee speak to him or Cynthia. George said the last time he saw Caylee was on 06/09/2008 around 1300 hours. George completed a sworn written statement and said he will testify in court. I then spoke to Casey about the incident. Casey stated on 06/09/2008 between 0900 hours and 1300 hours she took her daughter Caylee to Zanaida Fernandez~Gonzalez's apartment, which is located at the above address. Casey took Caylee to the residence as Fernandez is her current babysitter. Femandez has been Casey's babysitter for the past year and a half. Casey said she met Fernandez through a friend by the name of Jeffery Hopkins. Casey said after she dropped Caylee off at Fernandez's apartment, she went to work at Universal Studios. Casey said she left work around 1700 hours on 06/09/2008 and went back to Fernandez's apartment to pick up her daughter. Casey arrived at the apartment and realized that Fernandez was not home. Casey said Fernandez also had two roommates at the time. The roommates names were Raquel Farrell and Jennifer Rosa. Casey said she then called Fernandez to see were she was. Casey said when she called her phone that afternoon, Fernandez's phone was out of service. Casey found it odd that the phone was out of service because she called Fernandez earlier in the day and her phone was working. Casey said she waited outside Fernandez's apartment for two hours for Caylee to return. Casey became increasingly concerned for Caylee as she had not returned, so Casey began to go familiar places in the local area looking for Caylee. Casey said one of Caylee's favorite places to go to is Blanchard Park. Casey said once she could not find Caylee and had not heard from Fernandez she returned to her boyfriend Anthony's house. Casey said since the disappearance of her daughter, she has stayed at Anthony's house. Casey said she has spent everyday since 06/09/2008 looking for her daughter. Casey admitted to lying and stealing from her friends and family during the past month. Casey said she only lied and stole to do whatever it took to find her daughter. Casey also said she avoided calling the police or notifying friends or family in fear for her daughter. Casey informed me that she has not had contact with her daughter since 06/12/2008. Casey did receive one phone call from Fernandez but when Casey answered the phone the line disconnected. Casey was unable to provide me an exact date or time of that phone call. Casey said everyday since Caylee's disappearance, she has gone to malls, banks, parks, and any other place that she thinks Caylee may be located. Casey then said after telling me this information that she was contacted by her daughter by telephone. Casey said she spoke to Caylee and asked her to put an adult on the phone. Caylee was talking about what she has been doing and then hung up the phone. Casey said she received the phone call on 07/15/2008. Casey said the phone call came from a blocked phone number. Casey said she does not know the whereabouts of Caylee and can not speak about the well-being of the child. Casey completed a sworn written statement and she will testify in court. Casey said Caylee is 3'00" tall, 351bs, light brown hair, hazel eyes and DOB 08/09/2005. Caylee also has a small birth mark 0n her left shoulder. Corporal Rendon Fletcher (EID 2179) went to the address of 2863 South Conway Road to try and make contact with Fernandez. Corporal Fletcher found out the apartment was vacant. Corporal Fletcher made contact with the apartment's supervisor who advised him that the apartment has been vacant for one hundred and forty two days. The last renter of the apartment was no one who Casey mentioned living there. D/S Ryan Williams (EID 4898) made contact with Casey's boyfriend Anthony at his address 3848 Sutton Place. Anthony allowed D/S Williams to search his residence for Caylee or for any evidence that could help with the investigation of the incident. Anthony was cooperative with the deputy but was unable to provide any information about the where abouts of Caylee. D/S Robert Salamat (EID 4617) was sent out to the address of232 North Glenwood Avenue to make contact with individuals who may know Information about Caylee. D/S Salamat made contact at the residence but no evidence or information was obtained about Caylee's where abouts. Child abuse investigator Yuri Melich (EID 2684) responded to the scene and conducted his investigation of the incident. Cynthia was able to provide recent photographs of Caylee from 05/32/2008. The photographs were taken and attached to the image tab of this report.
