Abraham Shakespeare MISSING MURDERED - Lakeland, Florida (Polk Co.) Since April 2009 Abraham Shakespeare (42) won $31 million dollars in the Florida Lottery in 2006. He took a lump sum payout of approximately $17 million. He remained a frugal person as he had before his lottery windfall, but after numerous failed real estate transactions, loans, and friendships Abraham has suddenly gone missing. He was last seen in the Lakeland area in April 2009. Dorice Emma Donegan Moore (AKA Dee Dee Moore) stated in the media that she bought out Abraham's debts to enable him to move away to escape paying child support arrears for a second child that was born after the lottery windfall. On financing documents, she reported pulling in $10,000 a month from her job as a Nextel regional saleswoman and about $30,000 a year selling Mary Kay products. She traded in a '98 Ford Explorer, put down $5,000 cash and took out a $45,000 loan to get the new vehicle. Pretty soon, she fell behind on car payments. The first time it happened, Moore told a GTE Federal Credit Union loan officer that her money had been stolen. Later on the same day, Moore took the undisclosed witness to 5802 Highway 60 East in Plant City and showed him a concrete slab behind the residence and pointed to the location the body was buried. Moore placed a piece of steel bar on the slab to mark the spot and it was agreed that the body would be removed from the grave that night at 8:00 p.m. Moore told the undisclosed witness that she was leaving a white in color Ford F150 pick-up truck with an enclosed trailer attached to be used to transport the body. Moore gave the keys to the truck to the undisclosed witness. Moore showed the undisclosed witness the contents of the trailer, which she had purchased, that consisted of a galvanized metal trough, bleach, gloves and plastic sheeting. On January 25, 2010, Moore admitted to Polk County Sheriff’s Office Detectives Wallace and Clark that she had purchased bags of lime to be place over the victim’s body when it was buried.

She pointed out the 30-foot by 30-foot concrete slab that covered Shakespeare's corpse and used a metal bar to mark the exact spot where he was hidden. In her first televised interview, Moore told Bay News 9 that she did not kill Shakespeare. "Let the courts be the judge of that, let the investigators do their jobs, and they'll bring justice to the right person," she said. In an earlier interview with Bay News 9's partner paper, the Ledger, Moore had said she knew who killed Shakespeare. However, her new attorney said she can no longer comment on specifics of the case. She refused to comment on her earlier statement. "I would be glad to talk to all of you, tell you the complete story," she said. "But my lawyer says I cannot comment on anything."
