the house, and finished the tile, electrical and plumbing work.
Kenneth Schlangen stated he was present the day the concrete slab was poured
behind the house and stated she had recently purchased a used and worn backhoe
and then announced that she wanted to sell it a short time later. Kenneth
Schlangen stated DeeDee had said she wanted the slab with electric service so
that she could place a travel trailer there for her parents.
Kenneth Schlangen stated while doing the job, he found he could not make his
payroll at the Peterbilt job and had asked his brother in law, Richard Land, to
loan him the money. Kenneth Schlangen stated at the last minute, he backed out
and DeeDee Moore loaned it to him interest free, and in cash.
Kenneth Schlangen stated DeeDee did him a huge favor by doing this, and stated
that he paid her back $9000 and they called it even in exchange for the work
and material required for the remodel of the house. Kenneth Schlangen showed
writer the check receipt in his check register indicating the payment to her.
Kenneth Schlangen stated after he completed the Peterbilt job, he had made
about $50,000 profit.
Kenneth Schlangen stated he had been pursuing a job market in clearing out
foreclosed homes for Cyprexx Services, LLC (813-661-5800) and eventually
learned that they would hire him, but he had to relocate to Pennsylvania.
Kenneth Schlangen stated they moved around August of 2009.
Kenneth Schlangen stated Shar, along with a friend (who drives a blue in color
truck), and his brother had done all of the remodel work on the red brick
house. Kenneth Schlangen stated Shar's brother was quiet and was only there a
week or two.
Kenneth Schlangen stated DeeDee's ex-husband had been working for him at the
Peterbilt job but had also done some grading work at the house on Highway 60
for DeeDee.
Kenneth Schlangen stated he had never even heard of Abraham Shakespeare until
after they had moved to Pennsylvania and he would see information on the News
and his brother in law would call him as well. Kenneth Schlangen stated he
often wondered how DeeDee came in to so much money, because she never struck
him as being very intelligent.
Kenneth Schlangen stated prior to the body having been found, he called DeeDee
and asked how she was doing. Kenneth Schlangen stated Richard had been telling
him all kinds of strange stories like the body had been found hanging in the
garage and she said nothing like that had happened. Kenneth Schlangen stated he
had asked her about a couple of houses that Richard had told him that she wanted
to sell. Kenneth Schlangen stated she wanted $50,000 for one and $75,000 for
another and that he thinks her sisters were living in them, but not paying rent.
Kenneth Schlangen stated he never saw Shar or DeeDee in possession of any
handguns. Kenneth Schlangen stated because of his criminal record he can not be
around guns.
